LOCATION AND TRANSPORTATION:
The conference will be in downtown San Francisco. Attendees are responsible for their own transportation arrangements and expenses.
TRAVEL ASSISTANCE:
Because it is difficult for so many to travel in these tough economic times, the ICT Centers are trying to help qualified community college ICT educators attend this excellent event. On a first-come, first-served basis, until funds are exhausted, MPICT will provide:
-
a $50 stipend for attendance to ICT educators whose community college is within 50 miles of San Francisco,
-
a $100 stipend to ICT educators whose community college is between 50 and 100 miles of San Francisco, and
-
reimbursement of up to $500 of reasonable** transportation and hotel costs to ICT educators within the MPICT region whose community college is more than 100 miles from San Francisco.
On a first-come, first-served basis until funds are exhausted, the National ICT Center will reimburse reasonable** transportation and hotel costs up to $500 to ICT educators whose community college is outside the MPICT region.
HOTEL:
Because there are so many choices of hotels near the Conference, because the event is short, and because people’s preferences for hotels vary widely, if you are staying overnight in San Francisco, please select your own hotel. For your convenience, follow this link to a list of nearby hotels.
REGISTRATION:
Registration is FREE for ICT*-related faculty and administrators at community colleges in the U.S.
